09/26/2014 Info_concatenated_bib_files.txt - The concatenated patent grant bibliographic files are simple concatenations of the weekly files. - Files are concatenated in chronological order. - A blank line has been added to the end of each file before concatenating the next file. This was done because some of the files don't have a blank line as their last line. - If the defined DTD associated with the weekly text files (from which these files were obtained) changed during a year, separate zip files have been produced for each of the different DTD groupings. - There are three concatenated files within each zip file that correspond to the three files contained in each weekly zip file. - These concatenated files were created on a Windows PC and, therefore, contain Windows- style line terminations (0D 0A in hex). If the unzipping utility on a device used to extract the files doesn't automatically convert these line terminations to correspond to the ones used on that device, then the user will need to make this conversion themselves.
