1. A cannulated torque receiving bone screw assembly comprising:
a screw with an elongated cylindrical shank defining an inner throughgoing cylindrical bore and having a proximal end, a head
integrally formed at the proximal end, a distal end, and an outer surface, an engagement structure defined by said head is
shaped to receive and rotatably engage a driver having a shape complimentary to the shape of the engagement structure; an
external thread is formed on said shank outer surface and extends along a section of said shank. the rest of the outer surface
being unthreaded and an internal thread is formed on a surface defining an inner cylindrical bore axially aligned with said
shank and a threaded anchor bolt is mounted to said screw adjacent said screw head, said anchor bolt defining at least one
throughgoing bore therein transverse the axis of said inner cylindrical bore.
