1. A method of treating a leg ulcer comprising:
applying a highly absorbent bandage which comprises at least 5% by weight of a highly absorbent fibre and up to 10% by weight
of a bicomponent fibre to cover (i) the ulcer or (ii) the ulcer covered by an occlusive hydrocolloid dressing; and applying
as a second layer, an elastic bandage adapted to apply pressure to the highly absorbent bandage covering the ulcer.
