1. A hand held probe for electronic signals, comprising:
a grip for holding the probe in the hand;
at least one circuit assembly;
at least one probe tip carried by the at least one circuit assembly and that is forced against a location to be probed;
a length of Nitinol mechanically coupled between the grip and the circuit assembly, that transmits force forcing the probe
against the location to be probed, and which abruptly deforms upon the application of a selected amount of force that is less
than the force that produces damage to the other portions of the hand held probe.
