1. A clamp for retaining a rubber dam in a desired position relative to a tooth of a patient, comprising:
(a) transverse arch connecting two free ends;
(b) opposing retentive bonding pads associated with the two free ends and arranged in an opposing relationship for improved
retention, stability, and comfort of rubber dam applications; and
(c) when applied to a patient's tooth, the bonding pads engage at least one-half of the facial and lingual surfaces of the
tooth.
