1. A light-emitting device, comprising:
a first electrode;
a light-emitting layer disposed above the first electrode;
a second electrode disposed above the light-emitting layer; and
a material layer disposed above the second electrode,
the first electrode including both a transparent layer to transmit the light from the light-emitting layer and a reflective
layer to reflect the light, and
the thickness of the light-emitting layer and the transparent layer being set so that light extracted through at least the
material layer out of light emitted in the light-emitting layer has a predetermined chromaticity value.
