1. A method comprising:
identifying an amount of print substance in a printing device;
identifying an amount of print substance that should be in the printing device;
determining a difference between the amount of print substance that is in the printing device and the amount of print substance
that should be in the printing device;
comparing the difference to a threshold amount; and
determining whether theft of the print substance has occurred based on the comparing.
