1. A process for continuously producing a polyarylene sulfide which comprises
(a) batch polymerizing a sulfur source with a dihalogenated aromatic compound in the presence of an aprotic organic solvent
to produce a polymerization product,
(b) feeding a phase separation agent and an aprotic organic solvent into a reactor, and
(c) feeding the polymerization product of (a) to the reactor in (b) after the phase separation agent and aprotic solvent,
such that a spherical polymer phase is formed as a dispersed phase, wherein polyarylene sulfide is continuously produced in
the reactor from the reaction of the dihalogenated aromatic compound and the sulfur source in the presence of the aprotic
organic solvent.
