1. A lock-detect method comprising:
generating a user-configurable signal for selecting between a first mode of operating a lock-detect circuit and a second mode
of operating the circuit;
generating a first pulse and a second pulse based on the selected mode of operating the circuit;
determining whether an input signal is in-lock with a reference signal based on the first pulse; and
determining whether the input signal is out-of-lock with the reference signal based on the second pulse.
