1. A data reproducing apparatus, wherein a crosstalk component of at least one adjoining track is removed from a reproduced signal obtained by a reproduction head scanning over a target recording track of a recording medium, and recorded data are reproduced according to a predetermined algorithm from the reproduced signal after removing the crosstalk component, comprising:
crosstalk amount detection means that detects magnitude of the crosstalk component (crosstalk amount) indicative of a degree of influence of the crosstalk from at least one adjoining track to a desired signal from the target recording track,
phase difference measurement means that measures an amount of a phase difference between the desired signal and the crosstalk component, and
crosstalk component generation means that generates a crosstalk component that should be removed from the reproduced signal, based on the crosstalk amount and the phase difference.
