21. A liquid crystal display device, comprising:
a central gate line having paired transistors residing on opposite sides of the central gate line;
first and second gate lines residing on either side of the central gate line, each gate line having unpaired transistors;
and
a black matrix including a first portion overlying the central gate line and the paired transistors, a second portion overlying
the unpaired transistors, and a part opposite the unpaired transistors that is integral with the second portion and renders
the black matrix symmetrical with respect to the central gate line.
