1. A voltage-dependent polymer compound with a nonlinear current-voltage characteristic comprising a polymer matrix and a filler with a nonlinear current-voltage characteristic embedded in the matrix, wherein the filler comprises at least two filler components with nonlinear current-voltage characteristics deviating from one another, the polymer matrix comprises a single polymer or a mixture of polymers, the single polymer or at least one of the polymers of the mixture contains polar groups and/or is an intrinsically electrically conductive polymer, and the proportion of polymer containing polar groups and/or intrinsically electrically conductive polymer amounts to 0.01 to 50 percent by volume of the polymer matrix. |
