1. A method for determining an optical surface shape that mitigates or treats a vision condition of an eye of a particular
patient, the method comprising:
determining an optical surface shape for the particular patient using a set of patient parameters for the specific patient
with a compound modulation transfer function (CMTF), the compound modulation transfer function comprising a combination of
modulation transfer functions (MTF's) at a plurality of distinct frequencies.
