1. A method for vehicle navigation, comprising:
establishing path waypoints in an unmapped space in a navigational system;
automatically tracking vehicle positions between the path waypoints in the unmapped space over time as the vehicle moves through
the unmapped space;
automatically storing the vehicle positions between the path waypoints in a memory; and
automatically establishing a backtracking path through the unmapped space through the vehicle positions between the path waypoints
stored in the memory.
