1. A method for determining the water resistance of a fiberglass insulation comprising:
preparing a sample of fiberglass insulation by cutting a sample from a fiberglass roll or batt thereby producing at least one cut side;
exposing the sample to water for at least about 300 seconds by placing only one cut side in contact with water;
determining the amount of water absorbed by the sample.
