1. A unitary liquid cooling element for cooling heat generating parts of controllable electric drives, particularly of frequency converters, the cooling element comprising:
horizontal channels for conducting cooling liquid into the cooling element and away from the cooling element;
transverse channels for connecting the horizontal channels;
a first sealing means for closing each traverse channel;
and a second sealing means for covering and securing said first sealing means; wherein
the transverse channels are arranged eccentrically with respect to the horizontal channels such that the longitudinal axis of the transverse channel is closer to a lateral face of the cooling element than the longitudinal axis of the horizontal channel, and wherein the transverse channels are arranged eccentrically to the horizontal channels such that the outer edge of the transverse channel extends closer to the lateral face of the cooling element than the outer edge of the horizontal channel.
