1. An ink jet printer comprising:
a piezo-electric actuator having a piezo-electric layer and a plurality of contacts distributed on a surface of the piezo-electric
layer; and
a flat connector having:
a sheet made of an insulating material, a plurality of projections being formed at a first surface of the sheet and a plurality
of recesses corresponding to the projections being formed at a second surface of the sheet, and a plurality of conductive
lines and a plurality of conductive spots, the conductive spots being formed on the first surface of the sheet, one of each
of the conductive lines being connected to one of each of the conductive spots, each of the conductive spots covering at least
a distal end of each of the projections, wherein portions of the sheet forming the distal ends of the projections are located
within portions thinner than an area surrounding the thinner portions,
wherein the piezo-electric actuator and the flat connector are fixed such that each of the projections of the flat connector
makes contact with each of the contacts of the piezo-electric actuator.
