14. An apparatus for placing blades into a torque converter drum comprising:
a magazine for holding a plurality of blades;
an insertion arm for positioning the blades within the drum, whereby a blade is moved from a magazine loading position to
a position within the drum along one linear axis and one rotational axis; and
a first actuation device for moving the insertion arm between a first position and a second position, wherein a blade receiving
structure on the insertion arm picks a blade from the magazine at the first position, and a second actuation device connected
to the blade receiving structure, such that when the insertion arm is in the second position, the second actuation device
causes the blade receiving structure to rotate and position the insert within the receptacle.
