1. A multivibrator circuit protected against at least one of current and voltage spikes, comprising:
a first data transfer port that receives multivibrator input data;
a master latch cell connected to an output of the first transfer port;
a slave latch cell; and
a second data transfer port between the master and slave latch cells;
each of the master and slave latch cells comprising a plurality of redundant data storage nodes;
the first and second data transfer ports each comprising a writing circuit to write data separately into each redundant data storage node.
