15. A method of manufacturing a sensor comprising:
coupling a light detector and a light emitter to a substrate layer; and
coupling a layer to the substrate layer over the light detector and the light emitter, wherein the layer comprises a crimped
portion, the crimped portion formed by a crimping member coupled to the layer between the light detector and the light emitter,
wherein the crimping member is configured to attenuate light shunted from the light emitter to the light detector such that
less than 10% of light detectable by the light detector is shunted light.
