1. A method, comprising:
displaying, via a graphical interface, virtual representations of an anatomical region of a human and a medical device selection mechanism, wherein the medical device selection mechanism includes a plurality of implantable leads each medically implantable in the anatomical region;
moving, in the graphical interface, a user-selected implantable lead from the medical device selection mechanism to the anatomical region, wherein a first side of the user-selected implantable lead is initially displayed when the user-selected implantable lead is moved to the anatomical region;
automatically rotating, in the graphical interface, the user-selected implantable lead in the anatomical region in a manner such that a second side of the user-selected implantable lead is displayed after the user-selected implantable lead has been automatically rotated, wherein the second side is opposite the first side;
displaying, via the graphical interface, the user-selected implantable lead and a second implantable lead in the anatomical region, as well as a button that is different from the user-selected implantable lead and the second implantable lead, the button being displayed in a predefined region of the graphical interface;
detecting a user engagement of the button; and
automatically increasing, in response to the detecting of the user engagement of the button and based on a determination that the user-selected implantable lead and the second implantable lead are within a predefined threshold distance from one another, a spacing between the user-selected implantable lead and the second implantable lead in the graphical interface.
