1. A method of performing an endovascular procedure comprising:
inserting a first medical device into a patient's vasculature, the first medical device including a first tubular member and a filter element attached to a distal end of the first tubular member;
deploying the filter element; and
delivering a second medical device into the patient's vasculature through the first medical device, wherein the second medical device is a rotatable macerator creating particles, and the particles are aspirated through a lumen in the first medical device.
