1. A computing system, comprising:
a processor; and
a memory coupled to the processor, wherein the memory comprises instructions which, when executed by the processor, cause the computing system to:
obtain, via a transport data link, transport quality data associated with video content;
modify an output parameter of a display based on the transport quality data;
determine a first view perspective of a still image containing a plurality of image slices, wherein the still image provides a panoramic view of a scene and is stitched together from a plurality of crowd-sourced high-resolution images, wherein each of the plurality of image slices includes metadata respectively indicating how each of the plurality of image slices maps to the still image and how zooming is to be conducted on each of the plurality of image slices;
retrieve a subset of the plurality of image slices based on the first view perspective;
decode the retrieved subset to obtain a decoded first subset; and
render the decoded first subset based on the first view perspective.
