1. A method for automatic ordering, the method comprising:
capturing, via a machine-readable code scanner (MRCS), product identifying information associated with a product container;
outputting, via a force sensor, a force signal representative of a level of contents within the product container;
receiving, via a processor from the MRCS, the product identifying information for the product container;
validating, via the processor, the product identifying information;
sending, via the processor, an electronic request message to a product information database to access force information associated with the product identifying information, wherein the electronic request message is sent based on the validation of the product identifying information;
receiving, via the processor from the force sensor, the force signal representative of a current level of contents within the product container;
retrieving, via the processor, a predetermined threshold for the level of contents within the product container;
comparing, via the processor, the current level of contents in the product container to the predetermined threshold for the level of contents within the product container; and
generating, via the processor, a reorder signal when the force signal indicates a higher level of contents in the product container than the predetermined threshold.
