1. A sports instruction communication system, comprising:
a transmitter including:
a transmitter unit configured to transmit wireless signals, and
a first microcontroller coupled to the transmitter unit, the first microcontroller configured to provide the transmitter unit with a selection signal to wirelessly transmit;
a display coupled to the first microcontroller and configured to visually display a sports instruction;
a plurality of user actuatable input elements coupled to the first microcontroller, the plurality of user actuatable input elements grouped in different sections for different respective signal types;
wherein the first microcontroller is configured to provide the transmitter unit with the selection signal to wirelessly transmit in accordance with actuation of the user actuatable input elements, the selection signal corresponding to the sports instruction; and
a body-worn visual receiver including:
a receiving unit configured to wirelessly receive the selection signal;
a display configured to visually display sports instructions; and
a second microcontroller coupled to the receiving unit and the display, wherein the second microcontroller is configured to control the display to visually display a selected visual instruction in accordance with the received selection signal, wherein the selected visual instruction corresponds to the sports instruction.
