1. A method of initializing a dispensation line on a hydrocarbon discharge system, said method comprising the steps of:
a. isolating the dispensation line from upstream components in a tank system via a line leak detector valve;
b. lowering pressure in the dispensation line via drawing a set amount of fluid from the dispensation line;
c. determining an amount of fluid loss required to drop the pressure in the dispensation line between a first predetermined pressure threshold and a lower second predetermined pressure threshold.
