1. A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing computer-readable instructions executable by a processor of a computing device to:
obtain
(i) a first magnetic resonance (MR) image of a patient tissue before insertion of an implant device in the patient tissue, and
(ii) (ii) a second MR image of the patient tissue after insertion of the implant device in the patient tissue, the first and second MR images captured at different magnetic field strengths;
register the first and second MR images;
for each voxel of the second MR image:
(i) responsive to determining that a difference between a value of the voxel and a value of a corresponding voxel of the first MR image exceeds a threshold indicating a presence of the implant device, select the voxel of the second MR image, and
(ii) responsive to determining that the difference does not exceed the threshold, select the corresponding voxel of the first MR image;
generate a composite image containing the selected voxels of the second MR image substituted for the corresponding voxels of the first MR image, and the selected corresponding voxels of the first MR image, wherein the composite image reduces artifacts and distortions caused by the implant device; and
present the composite image on a display of the computing device.
