1. A lighting module for a speculum comprising:
a housing portion, wherein the housing portion is configured to surround at least a portion of a power source;
a clip portion comprising a receiving space for receiving a portion of the speculum; and
an arm portion extending from the clip portion and comprising a light emitting diode (LED) at a distal end of the arm portion, wherein a length of the arm portion forms an obtuse angle with a length of the clip portion so that the arm portion is configured to extend from the clip portion and be disposed against or near an inner surface of a bill of the speculum, and wherein the arm portion is flexible and adjustable, and the obtuse angle is adjustable.
