1. A device for treating a patient, the device comprising:
a capacitor configured to be charged and discharged in order to provide energy to a magnetic field generating device, wherein the magnetic field generating device is configured to generate a time-varying magnetic field, and wherein the time-varying magnetic field has a repetition rate in a range of 1 Hz to 300 Hz and a magnetic flux density in a range between 0.1 T and 7 T;
a mechanical waves generating element configured to generate mechanical waves and to apply the mechanical waves to the patient; and
an applicator comprising:
the magnetic field generating device;
the mechanical waves generating element; and
a blower positioned at a position around a circumference of the magnetic field generating device and configured to provide a cooling fluid proximate to the magnetic field generating device,
wherein the applicator is configured to be positioned over a body region of the patient so as to apply the mechanical waves to the body region and to apply the time-varying magnetic field to the body region of the patient.
