1. A defibrillator comprising:
a capacitor;
a battery;
control circuitry that includes one or more power converters;
separable pads having electrodes; and
a discharge circuit electrically coupled to the control circuitry and configured to release a voltage from the capacitor to at least one of the electrodes;
a single continuous casing, wherein all circuitry, including the control circuitry, the discharge circuit, and any other circuit, of the wearable defibrillator except the separable pads having the electrodes and any wiring associated thereto is housed in the single continuous casing,
wherein the defibrillator has a length that is a largest dimension of the defibrillator, a width that is the second largest dimension of the defibrillator, and a depth that is the third largest dimension of the defibrillator, wherein the capacitor, the battery, and the control circuitry are disposed along the length of the defibrillator such that the capacitor and the battery do not overlap any circuitry along the depth of the defibrillator, and each of the capacitor, the battery, and the control circuitry do not overlap along the width of the defibrillator.
