1. An object marking comprising a first security element and at least a second security element, wherein each security element is associated with a set of data segments and each security element exhibits depending on the capturing conditions a code segment which is an optoelectronically readable representation of one of the data segments of the set associated with the respective security element,
wherein different distinct data segments are represented by different code segments and wherein the set associated with the first security element and the set associated with the second security element differ in at least one data segment,
wherein every code segment represents the respective data segment in a pre-defined encoding, wherein the pre-defined encoding allows for a maximum number of possible distinct data segments and wherein the number of data segments in the set of data segments of each security element is less than 1/100 of the maximum number of possible distinct data segments.
