1. A liquid storage container for replenishing a liquid ejecting apparatus with liquid comprising:
a storage portion configured to store liquid;
a discharge port unit including a discharge port through which liquid stored in the storage portion is discharged, a flexible member, and a stopping member configured to close a flow passage through which the discharge port communicates with the storage portion, wherein the discharge port, the flexible member, and the stopping member are arranged in this order; and
a cover portion configured to be attachable and detachable to the discharge port unit and to be capable of opening and closing the discharge port,
wherein, the stopping member has a surrounding portion and a recess portion in a center of the surrounding portion,
wherein, both the surrounding portion and the recess portion move to a side of the storage portion after a communication flow passage included in the liquid ejecting apparatus penetrates the flexible member, whereby the discharge port is brought into fluid communication with the storage portion.
