1. An antenna having multiple coupled regions, comprising:
a first element and a second element positioned above a ground plane,
the first element connected to a transceiver,
the second element connected to the ground plane and capacitively-coupled to the first element to form a first coupling region, wherein the second element being coupled to the ground plane is adapted to provide a static frequency response at the first coupling region, and
a third element positioned above the ground plane,
the third element connected to a tunable component, the tunable component being further connected to the ground plane, the third element being capacitively coupled to the second element to form a second coupling region, wherein the third element being connected to the tunable component is adapted to provide a dynamic frequency response at the second coupling region;
wherein the antenna is adapted to provide a first frequency response and a second frequency response that is different from the first frequency response, the first frequency response being associated with the static frequency response at the first coupling region and the second frequency response being associated with the dynamic frequency response at the second coupling region.
