1. An integrated circuit comprising one or more circuits configured to control a display device having a display surface, wherein the display surface is disposed over a sensor electrode of a touch panel including a touch sensor which communicates with an active pen by a charge induced in the sensor electrode using a frequency included in a predetermined frequency band, the circuit device being configured to control the display device by performing the following steps:
driving each of a plurality of pixel electrodes of the display device to display image data on the display surface; and
selectively operating in a first operation mode or a second operation mode, wherein
in the first operation mode, driving the plurality of pixel electrodes with noise suppression control, the noise suppression control being configured to suppress at least one frequency component included in the predetermined frequency band in capacitive noise that occurs in the sensor electrode due to a voltage vibration in an interconnect in the display device caused by driving of the plurality of pixel electrodes, and
in the second operation mode, driving the plurality of pixel electrodes without the noise suppression control;
wherein the capacitive noise in the first operation mode is suppressed compared with the capacitive noise in the second operation mode.
