1. A system, comprising:
a memory storing instructions;
one or more databases, in electronic communication with the memory, configured to store information including:
account information associated with an account;
user information for a user associated with the account;
a mobile device unique identifier for a mobile device associated with the user, the mobile device having a downloaded mobile application installed thereon; and
an account balance associated with the account associated with the user;
at least one processor, in electronic communication with the one or more databases and the mobile device via a network; and
a network interface that connects the at least one processor to the mobile computing device via the network;
wherein the at least one processor is configured to provide, as a web-service, a mobile banking user experience to the downloaded mobile application of the mobile device and to execute operations including:
providing a user interface accessible via the mobile device upon authentication to the web-service via an encrypted network connection over the network interface, the user interface selectively including a home page and first and second interactive dashboards for providing the user with notifications relating to the account information, including the account balance, in response to being selected by the user;
causing the user interface to display one or more options available to the user via the home page, the one or more options including: opting into intelligent alerts, receiving automatic extensions of time, managing payment controls, and activating a debit card smart lock for managing the account associated with the user;
initializing the first interactive dashboard to include account settings or real time account information corresponding to the account balance being above a predetermined low-cash threshold and the second interactive dashboard to include account settings or real time account information corresponding to the account balance being below the predetermined low-cash threshold;
initializing a smart lock feature to present, in the first interactive dashboard, to a user an option to set a predetermined card-lock threshold at which to automatically lock a card associated with the account, wherein the second interactive dashboard further includes a card lock toggle button configured to toggle the card between an unlocked state and a locked state;
receiving information indicative of a future transaction associated with the account;
predicting a future account balance based on the account balance and the received information indicative of the future transaction;
determining whether the account is in a low cash mode state based on a comparison of the future account balance to the predetermined low-cash threshold;
triggering a first notification to the mobile device for display through the user interface, the first notification indicating:
that the account is in the low cash mode state; and
the future transaction;
responsive to the determination that the account is in the low cash mode state, replacing the first interactive dashboard with the second interactive dashboard, the second interactive dashboard configured to prevent a change in the predetermined card-lock threshold, the first interactive dashboard being inaccessible through the user interface while the account is in the low cash mode state;
receiving, from the mobile device, a request to:
receive a second notification at a later date or later time; and
delay payment of the future transaction, the request to delay payment of the future transaction including a timestamp associated with the request to delay payment;
receiving a set of rules in the one or more databases associated with the account, the set of rules being established to determine when to transfer funds;
responsive to receiving the request to receive the second notification at the later date or later time, causing the web-service to update the set of rules in the one or more databases to create updated rules that reflect the request to receive the second notification at the later date or later time; and
responsive to the updated rules, triggering the second notification to the mobile device at the later date or later time for display through the user interface, the second notification indicating:
that the account is in the low cash mode state;
the future transaction; and
the timestamp.
