1. A medical device, comprising:
an instrument body including a handle portion and a barrel portion with an opening;
an elongated tube including a lumen, an inflation port, and an inflatable balloon on a distal end of the elongated tube, wherein an end portion of the elongated tube engages the barrel portion of the instrument body;
a guide wire assembly carried by the instrument body, the guide wire assembly comprising an insertion tube configured to be selectively advanced and retracted along at least one path of travel including the barrel portion of the instrument body, the lumen of the elongated tube, and beyond the distal end of the elongated tube; and
at least one control switch configured to manipulate the insertion tube's movement.
